Concealed Media welcomed 1Shista, a rising artist from Little Rock, Arkansas, for an in-depth conversation during his first official stop in the Carolinas. Sitting down with hosts Dre and Rae’Dawn, the young rapper spoke about his rapid rise, business mindset, and plans to take his sound worldwide. 

Although new to the region, 1Shista made it clear he felt at home. Embracing the South, he shared his excitement about expanding beyond Arkansas and connecting with new audiences. “Anywhere they show love, I’m pulling up,” he said. 

What stands out most about 1Shista’s journey is how quickly it’s unfolded. He’s only been releasing music seriously for about six months, yet he’s already dropped nine singles, following a disciplined release schedule of every two weeks. That consistency is leading toward his debut project,

expected at the top of the year. 

A major turning point came when 1Shista entered Zillionaire Doe’s “Back to the South” open verse challenge while in California. Winning the contest and $5,000 was the first time he ever put his music out publicly. “That was my sign,” he explained. “That was God telling me to go rap.” 

Beyond the music, 1Shista displayed a level of industry awareness uncommon for someone his age. He spoke on branding, audience building, and the importance of doing what others wouldn’t. Financing his career independently, he approaches his image strategically, understanding the balance between authenticity and marketability. 

When asked about industry labels and outside opinions, 1Shista remained unfazed. He credited faith and focus for his momentum, emphasizing that staying in his lane and avoiding distractions has been key to his growth. 

Musically, sis current single “Nobody”, along with the official video, is out now on all platforms and follows the success of earlier releases like “Come Get It,” which surpassed 50,000 streams in a month. 

With plans to hit the road, expand nationally, and lock in future collaborations, 1Shista’s appearance on Concealed Media made one thing clear; this is only the beginning.
